There's no pricing page. Here's the pricing method instead.
A price without a diagnosis is a guess. So instead of a menu, here's exactly how every number at MI Forge gets made — the same math whether you ever hire us or not.
1. The floor — what the work costs
Every engagement is built from scoped modules — an audit, a workflow build, a ledger cleanup, a landing page. Each module carries an honest hour estimate and a complexity multiplier. The floor price is those hours at the internal rate, plus a contingency buffer for the things audits can't see yet. The floor exists so no quote ever turns into an underwater project — which is bad for both sides.
2. The anchor — what the fix is worth
Then we look at what the problem costs you: hours per week, missed deals, cash surprises, tax-season archaeology. A fair price is a share of that first-year value — typically 10–25%. If a workflow saves you 15 hours a week at $40/hour, that's roughly $31,000 a year, and a project in the low four figures pays for itself in weeks.
3. The rule that governs both
The price is the higher of the floor or a fair share of the value — and if the value can't justify the scope, we shrink the scope. Never pad the quote. If your problem is a $500 problem, you'll be told exactly that, handed the $275 guide (or the free article), and sent on your way. That rule costs us deals and buys us a business.
Menus make you shop before anyone knows the problem. They anchor on the cheapest option, they reward vendors who overpromise scope, and they turn a diagnosis into a negotiation. The application → audit → proposal flow exists so the first number you see is attached to your problem, not to a product page.
For rough orientation only: engagements typically begin in the low four figures, the Forge Audit diagnostic is $450 (credited in full toward work booked within 30 days), and the guides are a few hundred dollars.
When you're better off NOT hiring us
- • The problem costs under ~$500/mo — the free articles and toolkit will do more per dollar.
- • You haven't tried the DIY version yet — try it first; the audit will still be here.
- • You need enterprise compliance, audit, or legal work — that's a CPA firm, not us.
- • You want an agency to fully own it — we build with you, not instead of you.
